You and your nearest and dearest are invited to spend the night in the inimitable 1604* and enjoy this romantic setting as your wedding day draws to a close. There are ten en-suite bedrooms, (including the honeymoon suite) sleeping 24 guests in total, spread throughout a collection of authentic buildings. 1604 has been carefully designed to complement the existing style of Blackwell Grange.

The Granary – sleeps 2
A newly converted super king honeymoon suite that sits under the thatched roof and above the red brick original granary.
The Water Tower – sleeps 2
The lovingly named Granny’s Attic offers a wonderful king bedroom with an en-suite shower on the second floor of The Water Tower.
The Stables – sleeps 4
Next in line to The Water Tower, The Stables is home to two ground floor bedrooms, Polo and Hennessy. The former is a super king bedroom with an en-suite shower, while the latter offers a super king bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.
The Corn Shed – sleeps 6
Located opposite the main entrance to The Orchard Barn, The Corn Shed is just a stone’s throw from all the festivities. On the ground floor, Big Horn provides super king bedroom with an en-suite shower, while Gin and Lime,and Moonlight Escapade on the first floor offer super king en-suite bedrooms and are each accessed by their own staircase!
The Hayloft Cottage – sleeps 10
Hayloft, the master bedroom on the first floor, is full of character, boasting a full en-suite and views of The Walled Herb Garden. On the ground floor to the left, The Swallows is a generous super king bedroom with an en-suite shower. The bedroom to the right, The Bunker, sleeps six in the bespoke set of bunk beds. These have been authentically designed to be perfect for both single adult guests or children, with an en-suite shower room available too.
The Flour Mill
At the heart of 1604, the very reason why this open plan kitchen restaurant originates, as this is where the oats were milled for flour in a former life. This space is ideal for the morning after, providing the perfect opportunity for the full debrief while enjoying your 1604 breakfast.
