The Potting Shed
Once the family’s old potting shed, adorned with Grandpa’s ladder and Granny’s tea tin, this welcoming and cosy space is the perfect place to prepare with your loved ones before your ceremony.
Step inside, and you will find a generous shower room, Hollywood glamour makeup stations and full-length mirrors, with plenty of space to spend some quality time together as you get ready.
The Porch offers a private place that is dedicated to those final preparations. It provides you with your own personal dressing room, offering a moment of peace before the big day begins. The Potting Shed is available to you throughout the day and can be used as a quiet space for guests to enjoy.
The Thatch Barn
The Thatch Barn offers a spectacular backdrop for your vows, with original oak beams standing majestically over floor-to-ceiling windows.
The beauty and tradition of the barn creates a reverent ambience that is truly befitting of the life-changing moments that take place within.
The Thatch Barn features a striking copper fireplace and stunning chandeliers, complimented by modern lighting and a sound system to truly set the scene exactly as you imagined it.
The adjoining Servery, at the rear of the Thatch Barn, provides a peaceful setting to enjoy a moment of calm before making your way down the aisle. You will also meet your registrar here before the ceremony begins.
Orchard Barn
The contemporary Orchard Barn is dedicated to unforgettable celebrations and offers an incredible backdrop to your wedding breakfast and evening dancing the night away with your friends and family.
The barn’s subtle décor provides a blank canvas, allowing you to truly make the light-filled space your own. Next to the dining area, the stylish bar is the place to be to enjoy a tipple with your guests, while the inviting snug at the top of the spiral staircase offers a cosy place to relax and mingle.
Outdoor Spaces
This Cotswolds wedding venue’s outdoor spaces are full of delights all year round.
Embrace the feeling of country romance by holding an outdoor ceremony at the Arbor, treat your guests to delicious drinks and canapés on the lawns and discover the most enchanting settings for your wedding photos dotted throughout the seasonal, gardens (hand-crafted by the owners, Will and Didi) and grounds.
The lantern-lit loggia and terrace outside the Orchard Barn are perfect for taking in your country surroundings while, in the evening, the Walled Herb Garden through the Moon Gate comes alive as Blackwell’s talented chefs cook up irresistible dishes before your eyes.
